Wrenched Alpha Playtest
The Wrenched Alpha playtest is here! And I could not be more excited and scared! Putting your hard work out there for everyone to see, experience and possibly break, love or hate is a roller coaster of emotions.
Nevertheless is testing an integral part of making games.
If you would like to be a part of playtesting the Wrenched Alpha and help make Wrenched the best game possible there are a few things to know before you signup below to request a Steam Key to the playtest:
After testing the Alpha I kindly ask you to fill out this google form. This will be imperative to a successful playtest.
If you participate in the playtest and fill out the form I would love to thank you by giving away free Steam Keys for Wrenched to 25 random testers (when the game releases) and put your name in the credits of the game!
You are going to be testing an Alpha version of the game. This means all "content" is in place, but there is NO final art, animation, cut scenes, graphic design, sound or music in the game! You will be playing a bare bones, greyboxed version. Imagination is required!
The Alpha state of the game, means I am NOT looking for feedback on art, design, sound etc. (This is a Beta test thing.) I AM however looking for feedback on story, goal clarity, controls, gameplay feel, general gameplay, content length, platforming etc.
An Alpha version of any game is bound to have bugs. If you find any I would love to know, but more importantly would love to know, what and how you produced the bug! This way I can test and fix any bug properly!
Playtesting any game is a great responsibility. Feedback can potentially make or break Wrenched. I know what I am asking of tester is a lot (hence I want to give rewards) but it is imperative you take testing seriously.
Playing Wrenched will take around 4-5 hours and filling out the form at the end about 30 minutes. If you do not want to put in this time, please do not sign up to playtest!!!
